Empowering Women Through Mentorship

WE'RE PROUD TO CELeBRATE WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH

Women’s History Month is a celebration of women’s contributions to history, culture and society. We wouldn’t be where we are today without the strong women who came before us. And at Big Brothers Big Sisters, we are cultivating the next generation of history makers. Through our one-to-one mentorship programs, we help young women develop strengths as leaders, discover future career opportunities and become advocates for social change in their communities.

Workplace Mentoring offers high school students a jump start in their professional development and exposure to major corporations with the guidance of a mentor. The focus on college and career readiness opens the doors to new opportunities and helps them build relationships with skilled professionals.

Our Women in the Workplace cohort of Workplace Mentoring launched in 2020. This extension of our corporate mentoring model inspires young women in high school to explore career pathways from professionals in the financial services industry.

We are always interested in speaking to dynamic corporate partners interested in bringing this mentoring program model to your workplace. Join us to inspire the next generation of women!

Workplace Mentoring sessions are held once a month during the academic year. A corporate gift is associated with this program to help us underwrite cost, overhead and growth.

This new virtual program model launched in late 2020, born from the evolving needs of our high school students. College Bigs offers emotional support for first-generation college-bound youth as they navigate financial, academic and cultural barriers in their pursuit of higher education.

Connect with us to bring College Bigs mentoring to your virtual campus. Members of your women’s leadership program, professional honor societies or sorority can lend personal and professional guidance to our next generation of female leaders!
