National press is taking notice of the impact happening right here in Orange County and the Inland Empire!
Extra TV recently featured global storyteller Dhar Mann as he officially stepped into his new role as an Honorary Big with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Timed to the back-to-school season, Dhar teamed up with Macy’s to treat three deserving Littles to a back-to-school shopping spree.
Among the featured mentees was Little Brother Noah from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County and the Inland Empire. After being adopted by his aunt, Noah was matched with his Big Brother, Julian. That consistent relationship helped unlock Noah’s confidence, inspiring him to dream big. Today, Noah plans to become an engineer and the first person in his family to graduate from college.
“It’s made a tremendous impact on Noah’s life and has given him so much confidence and belief in himself,” said Dhar Mann during the segment.
